For the second time I had the great pleasure to interview the very tall Paul Gilbert while he was in Paris finishing his 40 date solo tour to promote his own album "Fuzz Universe".
Last time I met the guy was last year when he was touring with MrBig, the interview is on episode #26.
During the interview I asked questions on "Fuzz Universe" but also on "What If..." the next MrBig record which will be released in Europe early 2011.

Mattias “IA” Eklundh interview with Freak Kitchen guitar player

Meeting with Mattias "IA" Eklundh was an experience. The guitar player for the swedish power-trio Freak Kitchen is very funny and manages to be also very serious in his answers at the same time.
I have to admit I discovered very recently the music from Freak Kitchen (shame on me, I know!) and I was more than anxious to discuss with such a guitar player.
They will be in France in 2010 (February 2nd at La Maroquinerie in Paris) so don't miss them if they come near you.

As a follow-up to this episode (where you can listen to a Steve Vai interview) I did a Skype interview with his guitar player for the last 10 years, Dave Weiner.

I was able to meet Paul Gilbert for a 15 minute interview a couple of hours before the MrBig show in Paris at Le Bataclan on September 16th 2009.
