I had several times in the past the opportunity to play on Tone King amps (www.toneking.com): they sound great.
I use a Plextortion pedal on my pedalboard for the heavy guitar sounds so while at the NAMM I jumped on the opportunity to interview Brian Wampler the founder of Wampler Pedals.
During the 2015 NAMM show I had the pleasure to meet and interview tone guru Bill Krinard who his the mastermind behind the Two-Rock amps (www.two-rock.com).
While I was in Los Angeles for the 2015 NAMM show, I met completely by chance Grover Jackson one morning in the alleys of the show even though he did not have a booth with GJ2 Guitars. He proposed me right away to come and visit their workshop in Orange County, no need to say I jumped on the opportunity.
I am a big fan of the work of Tom Anderson as I think he builds with his team amongst the best superstrat of the market.
I discovered the work from Harry Häussel when I did a video review the Spartan model from luthier Mikaël Springer. So when I met in Berlin during the Holy Grail Guitar Show when he was visiting the salon I proposed him to do an interview that you see below.
At one point or another we all have fantasized on the Jackson guitars during the 90s. The brands Jackson and Charvel were synonymous for high performance guitars.
It's the 3rd time I have the huge pleasure to meet Paul Reed Smith. The first time was in 2004, I was living in Montréal, Canada at the time and Paul was in town for a clinic. It was 5 years before I started The Guitar Channel so no need to say I did not do any interview.
The second time was 7 years later in 2011, it was my very first Musikmesse. I went straight to the PRS booth when I arrived in Frankfurt.
Here's a mini-interview with Paul Reed Smith done at the 2011 MusikMesse 2011 on Friday April 8th. Paul is the mastermind behind PRS guitars, it was a blast to be able to talk to him.
