The Puteaux Guitar Festival (culture.puteaux.fr), which has had 5 editions (2017, 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2023), will be back next year in 2025. The town of Puteaux has decided to take a break in 2024, but the will is there to perpetuate this guitar event, which has taken its place in the French guitar landscape.
Dates have not yet been finalized, but the 2025 edition will be held around mid-October.
Having recently had a first meeting with the new director of the music academy, Florent Monfort, who succeeded Patrick Marco, there's a good chance that The Guitar Channel will once again be responsible for organizing the guitar show show and demonstration concerts.
So, of course, I'm sad there won't be an edition this year, but the good news is that we now have a full year to organize a strong comeback next year.
2023 luthier guitar demo concerts
One of the special features of the Puteaux guitar show is the boutique builder guitar demo concerts, performed by professional musicians paid for by the music academy, and recorded on professional video.
