Telecaster pickups shootout – Lollar Pickups vs Dreamsongs Pickups

Telecaster pickups shootout: Lollar Pickups versus Dreamsongs Pickups

Here is shootout of two sets of Telecaster pickups, one from Dreamsongs Pickups (www.dreamsongspickups.com) with the Classic Blues-Rock reference from Italy and one from Lollar Pickups (www.lollarguitars.com) from the US with the 52 T reference.

This is a before / after test review of these pickups on the same guitar, with the same strings and trying, as much as possible, to play the same riffs and licks to have the best possible comparison.

The guitar used is my beloved Rittenhouse Telecaster.

VERSUS

Plug your headphones to enjoy the sound fully and make up your own idea.

Spoiler: both sets of pickups are excellent!

Review setup

Path: Guitar > Apollo Twin Universal Audio interface

Plugin used: Fender Tweed Deluxe 55

Until the next gear review, keep on playing the guitar!

Pierre Journel.
