Zakk Wylde interview: the launch of @WyldeAudio products

Here's the video interview done for the Zakk Wylde interview during the 2015 NAMM show. Zakk had just announced a couple of days before the opening of the NAMM that he was launching a line of musical products starting with electric guitars and amps under the brand Wylde Audio. I pinged him on Twitter and a couple direct messages later, an interview was organized in a hotel room not far from the Anaheim Convention center.

Conclusion

The Wylde Audio products look promising. Of course without an in depth review it's difficult to judge the quality of the guitars or amps. With a price range under 1 000$ (to be confirmed), it looks like it's going to be a hit. The 100W head is also supposed to be priced under 1 000$. The guitars are made in South Korea as you can see per the picture of the back of the headstock of the V model.

No official date for the release of the products has been communicated. At the time of the writing of this article, the Wylde Audio website consists only of a newsletter subscribing form so we'll have to wait for more information.

I had a blast interviewing Zakk. He seems to be pretty happy about the new adventure that is to launch a new brand. Note that the full line of products will include not only guitar and amps but pedals, microphone and other items.
