Zane Carney (zanecarney.com) played with the band Foster the People (fosterthepeople.com) at Le Trianon on July 3, 2025. Just after the sound check, we did an interview on Boulevard Rochechouart in Pigalle in Paris, France. As we were in the guitar-shop district of Paris, I took him to rue de Douai.
We pushed open the door of Guitar Legend (stars-music.fr/guitar-legend-by-stars-music) and he fell head over heels for the Déferlante model from Marceau Guitars (marceauguitars.com). It was 10 minutes before closing time, but the salesman kindly set us up in the test room for an impromptu test drive, of which this is the video.
