As I often repeat that recording yourself is a very powerful tool for progress, I'm preaching by example with this video. In it, I play the theme from Chris Isaak's Wicked Game on slide guitar.
For this session, I first recorded the arpeggio and then improvised over it on the bottleneck.

Self analysis
There are clearly still notes here and there that are far from perfect. Nevertheless, I'm beginning to be pleased with the emotion I'm able to convey using the slide technique. It's quite gratifying to hear that I am finally making some progress.
In fact, the early days with the bottleneck were laborious in terms of accuracy. There's only one solution: you have to work regularly to improve your articulation and get straight to the note.
Until the next session, keep on playing the guitar!
