German luthier Rainer Tausch of Tausch Guitars (tausch-guitars.de) builds around twenty guitars a year to the highest quality standards. In this gear review, I present the Montreux model equipped with three Haüssel Staple-type pickups.
Get ready, it sounds amazing!

- Nothing, really
Conclusion
With this Montreux guitar, Rainer Tausch offers a remarkable instrument that sounds great whether played clean or with a more energetic tone. It's a real pleasure to play in all registers.
The size of the Montreux may seem imposing, but given its gentle curves, it's a very comfortable instrument to play. What's more, as the guitar is hollow-bodied, it's lightweight. I'd already really liked the previous Tasuchs I'd tested, and this is no different with this new format.
In short, we already knew that the Germans knew how to make fine, fine luthier's guitars, but here's further proof, if proof were needed!
Until the next interview or gear review, keep on playing the guitar!
