Jean-Philippe, one of the premium subscribers of the show ordered this B-30 from the French luthier Virgile Pilon of Blind Guitars (blindguitars.com) a gorgeous OM-style instrument with Brazilian Rosewood for the back and sides. He was so kind that he had the guitar delivered to me when it was finished instead of straight to him.

"The Brazilian Rosewood Blues" on a B-30 Blind Guitars
While I was playing the guitar to warm up to shoot a full video in French about it, I came up with this ultra simple Blues groove in E. The title in French is "Le Blues du Rio" which means "The Brazilian Rosewood Blues".
This take is definitely a bit rough on the edge and I apologize for that but the sound and feel was so good that I recorded it right away:

Recording setup
The guitar is loaded with a K&K Pure Mini pickup system. I used it plugged into the K&K Pure Preamp, then into my Neve 88M preamp.
A Neumann KM184 was also mixed with the K&K signal.
A slight stereo Hall reverb was added in the Presonus mixing console.
