In June 2020 I proposed you an interview with the director Jörg Steineck because he was launching a crowdfunding campaign for a documentary about the great jazz musician John Scofield. A little more than two years later the documentary film Inside Scofield is released! Here is the review.

Review of the documentary
I really appreciated the proximity we have with John Scofield during the whole documentary. We follow him in the clubs, during the sound check, in the trains, etc. In short, we live with the musician and his band. In short, we live with the musician and his band.
It is a treat to hear him talk about his music, to listen to his memories of his career when he played with Mile Davis or when he simply exchanges with the musicians before going on stage.
All John Scofield fans will love it and I think others will too! You don't have to be a jazz fan to enjoy this very well shot documentary that features a lot of playing sequences.
One of my favorite sequences is the one where we see John Scofield trying out a Dobro in a store with his bass player!
