I knew the Fretboard Summit (fretboardsummit.org) was a brilliant guitar event from all the feedback I’d received. Still, I didn’t think I’d enjoy it as much as I did on that first day!
The venue is absolutely stunning and perfectly suited to a guitar event: the exhibition spaces are beautiful, there’s natural light almost everywhere, the concert halls are comfortable and the sound is brilliant.
Of course, the main attraction was the programme, featuring excellent musicians – mainly from the acoustic side of the Force – as well as around a hundred luthiers and guitar brands showcasing incredible instruments.
And as if that weren’t enough, there were also some fascinating people amongst the visitors.
