The mission of The Guitar Channel is not only to produce top quality exclusive guitar content (there, I said it!) but also to create exchanges between guitar enthusiasts.
This is done by participating in guitar shows, like next week's 2023 Paris Guitar Festival in Montrouge, during weekly broadcasts on the Internet for Direct Backstage subscribers and also during Backstage events reserved for premium subscribers.
So on this beautiful Saturday, March 11, 2023, we found ourselves at the intergalactic showroom with Olivier, Jean-Philippe, Thierry and Christophe around no less than 7 Blind Guitars (blindguitars.com) from luthier Virgile Pilon.
Virgil was even present with us at one point via a Zoom video conference to exchange the latest news of his workshop and ask him some questions.
Blind Guitars world record
Since there were no less than 7 Blind guitars in the showroom that day, it is reasonable to think that we beat the number of instruments made by Virgile per square meter!
The guitars present (from left to right and from top to bottom):
- B-30 in Alps Spruce and Cherrywood
- B-30 in Spruce and Brazilian Rosewood
- Cigar Box in Spruce and Bocote veneer
- B-42 in Spruce and Cocobolo
- B-1 in Mahogany
- Telecaster in chambere dRosewood
- B-26 in Spruce and Padouk

Would you like to participate in such a event?
Every guitarist knows that, apart from playing guitar, the most important thing is to talk about it! So if you too would like to participate in a Backstage event like this one, all you have to do is subscribe!
