Sean Ashe guitar in hand interview with the talented musician

Sean Ashe guitar in hand interview with the talented musician

First met in 2018 at NAMM, Sean Ashe (seanashemusic.com) is an American musician with a strong melodic sense. He has released a new single called Ocean on May 15, 2021, 5 years after his album Flux. It is guitar in hand (a Tom Anderson of course!) that he answered all my questions from his home studio in California.

Subjects discussed in the full 90min interview

  • Impact of the pandemic on his life as a musician
  • The legacy of Eddie Van Halen
  • The collaboration with Tom Anderson
  • The making of his single Ocean
  • His songwriting and recording process
  • His arm injury and how he healed
  • The next projects
